I’d dropped off a pocket watch for a repair estimate at Anthem Jewelers on August 6th.

I’d been given different times to come and pick it up, and was given excuses as to why it was not there.

On August 20th, I’d called to confirm the watch would be available to be picked up. I was told that the watch repair person hadn’t brought it, and that it would “be there on Monday”.

I asked if I could get the repair man’s Name and Number so I could confirm that my watch would be available. The salesman refused and told me that the watch will be there on Monday and then hung up on me.

I called back, and was told to “quit bugging us, you’ll have your f***ing watch on Monday!” (this is a direct quote) I asked for this person’s name, he said “My name is ‘Dick Tracy’, and if you keep bugging us, there will be ‘trouble’. He hung up after that.

In short, their behavior bordered on Theft, and threats of harm were made when I ask about collecting my property.
