EMS Pasay Philippines – over taxing

0

Description

The customs here told my supplier that they cannot deliver my items because they cannot find my address, I have sent many items through them before, they are just eyeing on the big boxes of small business man’s merchandise. EMS customs here are like crocodile they are charging us more than the price that we paid. I think their commissions are base on how high they are taxing the items. It is okay to pay tax as long as it was rightly computed. I bought a small cosmetic bags from China, of course it is cheap, since China were known us low cost laborer, but when the customs calculated the tax and the outcome that I will pay is cheap she immediately change it and computed the amount of the my shipping fee which I already paid tax before, when I am complaining or a lot of us she computed are complaining about the way she computed our tax she was angry and said wala na akong kikitain nito e! murmuring to her self. I am not against paying taxes for me i will just pay the amount that I am suppose to pay and if the tax will go to the government but no, half of it will go to their pocket. We are trying to live in a decent manner, since the government cannot help to resolve issues on poverty & jobless Filipinos, We are trying to help our self, if the government cannot help us to resolve the issue then they might help us in supporting small entrepreneurs. No one will buy our products in a high cost. Because those crocodile customs already ate what suppose to be ours, Do we deserve it? Pinaghirapan mo iba ang nakinabang. Not just it I have a proof that my bags were slash by the inspector. Lumalabag na sila sa karapatan namin. What will be the outcome if this continues? “Hungry stomach knows no law”.
