We have flew with MAS over 10 years.
On Jan 2011 we’ve received advert telling about Air Asia opening a new line in Paris.
So ,off we flew to Malaysia by asia. Until our arrival things seems to be in order and service rather compatible with the price offer.
Unluckily we’ve missed out return flight at 1.20am to Paris. Kids were crying as exhausted and tired at one o clock in the morning.The counter were closed , no one to assit us. Frustrated we left the airport to find a hotel. The next day we have rang up the customer service center to explain the situation .We were told that the airport tax could be waive off but we need to drop by to Time square in KUL to explain the incidents. Off we went,all the way from Concorde inn to KUL(time square) with RM360 of taxi fare. We have explain the incidents to the girls at the counter.And asking if we can book the flight with her by waving off the tax. But the guy i had over the phone from customer service center has forgotten to tell us that the price were as twice as much expensive even without air port tax. Then we asked to use the telephone to call the customer service that we had earlier . Off she went in the back office to ask her superior, and surprisingly the answer is a NO! Upset and helpless we ask her kindly if se could check the website to see the different of the rate purchase from the counter and website . Dissapointed , we have been refusing again by given the answer they COULD NOT access to air asia website to check the price . An this is the best of the best of the day , she has insisted us to book through internet but not being able to tell us the price offer by web booking !We ask her what should we do ,and what she can proposed us ! She were smiling at us and was saying i am sorry ,there’s nothing much we could do to help you. So , in another word take your taxi back to hotel and find your own solution .
This is rather shocking for all of us , we have expecting a better customer service since we have been told that you’re the best low cost air lines.
